Total monthly cost in ₹: Zapext vs API-based tools in India
For one person, Zapext costs ₹699 a month with no per-message fee. The paid plans of the tools below that publish INR prices cost more, and most add message or setup fees. Prices are as published on each vendor's site on 24 Oct 2026; [E] marks figures that are not shown as text on the vendor's page and were read from the page's code that day.
| Tool | Type | Published monthly price | Extra user | Message or setup fees |
| Zapext Starter / Plus | Chrome extension on WhatsApp Web | ₹699 (1 user) / ₹1,799 (up to 4 users) | Included in Plus, up to 4 | No per-message fee, as it does not use the API[1] |
| Interakt Sales CRM | API platform | ₹2,499 + taxes, 5 agents included (shown to visitors in India) | ₹499 per agent per month | WhatsApp message charges on top[4] |
| TeleCRM Pro | CRM with a WhatsApp chat-sync extension | ₹799 per user billed annually (₹1,099 quarterly), minimum 3 users (₹2,397) | Chat Sync ₹200 per user per month | One-time WhatsApp API setup fee (₹1,999 in its FAQ)[5] |
| AiSensy Basic / Pro | API platform | ₹1,500 / ₹3,200 [E] | ₹750 per extra agent per month | Meta rates from 1 Oct 2026: marketing ₹1.09, utility and authentication ₹0.145, service ₹0.145 after 1,000 free per month[6][7] |
| Wati | API platform | Wati does not publish INR prices on its pricing page | Priced in USD on Wati's global page: $24 per user per month on Pro | Extra charges per message, by message type[8] |
AiSensy also lists a free plan [E][6]. It still uses the API, so message charges apply when you send.
Worked example 1: one person replying to inbound leads and sending follow-ups
- Zapext Starter: ₹699 a month. No per-message fee, because it does not use the API. Send lists only to contacts who agreed to receive them; they go out gradually, while your computer is on.
- AiSensy Basic: ₹1,500 a month [E]. Replies inside WhatsApp's 24-hour customer-service window are service messages: the first 1,000 a month are free, then ₹0.145 each. A follow-up sent after that window needs an approved template, billed per message (utility ₹0.145, marketing ₹1.09)[9][7].
Worked example 2: a team of three
- Zapext Plus: ₹1,799 for up to 4 users on one number.
- TeleCRM Pro, annual billing: 3 × ₹799 = ₹2,397, plus Chat Sync 3 × ₹200 = ₹600, so ₹2,997 a month, plus the one-time setup fee if you connect the API.
Price is not the whole story. API tools offer what an extension cannot: templates for cold leads, bots that run on a server and room for 5 or more agents. The useful question is whether you need them today.

Who it is for, and who should use the official WhatsApp Business API instead
Zapext fits a business where 1 to 4 people reply from one WhatsApp number on a laptop during the day. To message thousands of new contacts or run a bot all night, use an official API platform.
Zapext is a good fit if you
- are a sole proprietor or a small team with 1 to 4 people replying from one number;
- get most leads from people who write to you first: real estate, clinics, tuition classes, shops, travel or local services;
- sell on regular WhatsApp or the Business app and want to keep your number where it is;
- lose leads because follow-ups live in your head or a notebook;
- want a fixed price, not a bill that grows with every conversation.
Choose a WhatsApp Business API platform if you need
- approved templates to reach many people who never wrote to you first;
- 5 or more agents on one number;
- bots that run on a server 24 hours a day, with no computer on.
API platforms such as Interakt, Wati and AiSensy charge a subscription, and messages sent through the API are also billed per message under Meta's pricing[9][6][4][8]. Zapext does not use the API: no template approval and no per-message cost, but none of the API-only features either.
An extension cannot make WhatsApp allow what it forbids. No tool can stop WhatsApp from restricting a number that breaks its rules. Only message people who have agreed to hear from you, keep volumes reasonable and use gradual sending for lists, within WhatsApp's Business Messaging Policy and Terms of Service[10][11].
