What Zapext is

Zapext turns WhatsApp Web into a sales CRM on your regular or Business number, without the WhatsApp Business API: a Kanban board where each chat is a card, labels, quick replies, reminders and scheduled messages, keyword auto-reply, voice transcription, privacy mode, backup and list sending. Plus adds up to 4 users on one number.

Pricing as of Oct 2026

Zapext charges one licence per number (ask about volume pricing). US$ prices are approximate, charged in Brazilian reais (BRL) at 5.2 BRL/USD on 28 Sep 2026; India pays in rupees by card.

Where WA Web Plus is stronger

  • Scale: a far larger user and review base (2,000,000 users vs 552).
  • Automation depth: multi-trigger workflows and broadcasts with Excel import, column variables, scheduling and working hours.
  • Two-way webhooks: on Expert, an incoming REST API lets your own system send messages or run campaigns. Zapext sends outbound webhooks only.
  • Several numbers on one plan, up to 10.
  • Extras: a free version and, since version 5, cloud sync across computers.

Where Zapext is stronger

  • A sales pipeline: Kanban, labels on regular accounts and follow-up reminders. WA Web Plus lists no pipeline view (25 Oct 2026).
  • A team on one number: Plus puts up to 4 people on the same number, with chat transfer and round-robin distribution.
  • Scheduled messages on the first plan; WA Web Plus's pricing page lists Scheduled Messages only on Professional and Expert (its broadcasting help describes campaign scheduling).
  • Voice message transcription, not listed by WA Web Plus.
  • More browsers: Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera and Vivaldi. WA Web Plus says it is optimised for Chrome.

Data, privacy and safe use

WA Web Plus's privacy policy says core features run in your browser, while sync, webhooks and campaign storage, if enabled, may store data on its infrastructure. Its store listing says it handles personally identifiable information. Zapext stores your CRM data encrypted on your computer and does not send chat content to its servers (see our security page).

Both are desktop-only; automations need the computer on and WhatsApp Web open. WA Web Plus's terms leave the ban risk with the user, and no tool can prevent WhatsApp restrictions: message only people who agreed, at reasonable volumes, sending gradually, within the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy. See our rules to reduce the risk of bans.

Which one should you pick?

Pick WA Web Plus if you mainly need broadcasts, auto-reply workflows, privacy tools or exports, run several numbers from one plan, or want an incoming API.

Pick Zapext if you sell from one number, want each lead on a pipeline with follow-up reminders, and share that number with up to 4 people. Also read Zapext vs Cooby or our roundup of WhatsApp Web extensions.
