10 advanced WhatsApp Web tips you don't know

Working with WhatsApp Web most of the day? These 10 tips save hours a week — and most people have never heard of them.

1. Essential Keyboard Shortcuts

• Ctrl+N — new conversation
• Ctrl+Shift+] / Ctrl+Shift+[ — next/previous conversation
• Ctrl+E — archive conversation
• Ctrl+Shift+M — mute
• Ctrl+Shift+U — mark as unread

2. Dark mode in Windows even without system support

Go to Settings → Theme → Dark. On mobile, this is turned on by default if your system is in dark mode; on the Web it is manual.

3. Mark as read without opening (and without checking)
